Our farmers harvest vegetables based on peak flavor and nutrition and select varieties of vegetables that taste spectacular vs. growing varieties that simply yield the most, keeping flavor and the customer's interest a priority. They even taste test on the fields before delivering to the city.
The small-mid size farms we work with do not use harmful pesticides and pay close attention to their crops so they can use natural growing methods.
