Hold an Order and Refund Policy

When you order through Local Roots NYC, you're part of a food system built just for you. The small, family-run farms we work with plant varieties and specific quantities with you in mind and they harvest per order so we have minimal food waste. Our refund policies are sensitive to this personalized supply chain - thank you for understanding.

Need to skip a week? Put your order on hold!
If you're traveling during the market season, you can have that week refunded or donated. Requests for refund must be made 1 full week prior to your pickup. Requests made before the season begins are free of charge. There is a $5 service fee if you're submitting your request after our early bird order deadline. this fee will be incorporated into your total refund.

Did you forget to pick up your food or didn't get a chance to put your order on hold?
Unfortunately, we're unable to issue you a refund. Our farmers have already harvested your food and it was brought to your pick up site. If you think you won't be able to make your pick up time, ask a friend. They'll love cooking with some farm-fresh produce and will probably save you some tasty treats!

Refund Policy
Though we do not offer cancellations in the middle of your subscription, we still want to reward you for being so dedicated to providing our farmers with substantial support. If you feel a serious need to cancel (unhappy Local Roots members makes us sad), we'll be happy to issue you store credit to use towards another market item. Yay!
