The Problem

Store-bought granola has been sitting on store shelves for months on end, shipped across the country and losing their freshness day by day. They're sometimes made with problematic ingredients like palm oil, high fructose corn syrup, and artificial ingredients – each of which have their long list of ethically corrupt and environmentally damaging characteristics. Palm oil and chocolate are often tied to supply chains tied to child labor and deforestation. Corporations behind these products cut corners and exploit the Global South to simply meet their bottom line.

Our Food Fix

Meadowhawk Granola is committed to sourcing practices that support organic agriculture and the farmers practicing it. All ingredients are certified organic, as local as possible, and grown, gathered or crafted by people who are excited about making connections with the people who purchase their products. Supporting them means supporting a local food economy.
