LOCAL ROOTS NYC IS THROWING A PARTY!
Open to all and free of charge.
Join us for a Local Roots bonanza at Berg'n Beer Hall (899 Bergen St BK) on July 19th from 6-9pm. We'll be in the courtyard if the weather is nice, and inside if it is not.
This is your chance to enjoy local treats from our producers, get some tips on how to become a better home chef, learn about the impact Local Roots NYC has on the local food system, take our spirit vegetable quiz, and more!
In Local Roots style, we'll have cooking workshops throughout the night.
- Learn how to build a cheese board and make it picture perfect with @Acheesemongersdaughter
- Perfect your homemade pizza with Brooklynite and City Council Member Rafael Espinal Jr aka @rlespinal
- Why is eating local better for your health? Find out from health and wellness coach Life Meets Health, @yo_erikita
